| The
complex is located at 7222 Commerce Circle. The fire training
center was built in 2003. The complex was built as a state-of-the-art
fire facility and includes a two story multiple room live
fire burn building. A six story training tower, with each
floor designed to simulate a different type of construction.
The tower is also utilized by the technical rescue team
for high angle and confined space rescue scenarios. The
facility includes a multipurpose bldg. with classrooms,
and is set up to eventually be staffed as a fire station.
The facility is staffed by the training division and includes
the Division Chief of Training, Captain of Training, and
a Lieutenant of Training. |
