IAFF is the leading sponsor of MDA Summer Camps across North
America. As the biggest supporter of MDA, IAFF members are
often invited to visit their local MDA camp during special
sponsor VIP day and meet with the campers. Fire fighters
provide local MDA kids with many special summer memories
by participating in the camps. "You may say goodbye,
but no matter where you go and what you do, you will always
remember your time with the fire fighters at MDA Summer
Camp," said 2002 MDA National Goodwill Ambassador Mattie
Stepanek. Twelve year old Mattie attends MDA summer camp
at Camp Maria in Leonardtown, MD. every year. |
